  • Chris, when I see you clearing a lot, it reminds me and my bro, 25 years ago, clearing his lakeside lot to build his cottage/retirement house. By hand. Falling huge maple and pine trees with chainsaws. And the damn undergrowth & sapplings. Man, it took us almost 2 years !😝 And now to see you do it in few hours, I get mixed emotions, ya know !? 😨 Should had call a guy like you ! Oh well... In our next life. Maybe. 🙄 PS You're doing a great job, as usual.😁

  • That's a kind of job site that you lay down 2ft thick layer of rocks. And once the work that completed. Then it's time to start removing the 2ft thick compacted temporary rock road up and use at a different location that is similar to this job or whatever job site requires rocks from gulf ball to half a size of a basketball.

  • Never underestimate the disregard loggers can have for someone's property once they get what they are after, the logs themselves. More mess they can leave, the easier it is for them.

OGreatMaster KlenderOGreatMaster Klender26 ditë më parë
    • Loggers are there to log, not make things pretty. How much money the land owner gets for his timber is inversely proportional to how much they clean up. The owner wants max money, then they don't clean up anything. Don't blame the loggers, I'm sure they did the job as it was bid.

Richard SchipperRichard Schipper25 ditë më parë
    • Whenever you get a logging job bid, make sure they're liable for the clean up too! Back drag the logging roads, clean up the landing and organize the tops. It has always seemed to work out fine that way.

Or am I just not waiting long enough to get it? Know you do not do what, you do not have too. but also know you do not do half ass stuff. Just wondering why the extra work?
