  • Surely it would have been quicker and not much more expensive to have sub base delivered as opposed making a clay quarry on site. Unless you didn't charge for the time it took to clear the site, provide a dump truck driverand load the dump truck.

  • we had some more property back behind us that we didn't know was ours and it was heavily overgrown , I was trying to clear it by hand witch resulted an accident that cost me about 2,000.00 in emergency room bills and 11 stitches so my brother decided to have a company come in and bulldoze it all down ….got to see one at work instead of just watching on ALworld . I still need to clean out the fence line and use a stump grinder on the stumps

    • They had to bulldoze the back forty to GET to the back forty!!! Hahaha and there is an awesome forest to drive through to enjoy getting there in the future. This family is very fortunate. They then share their good fortune (very likely a result of some very hard work) with the people they hire who create jobs for the people that sell and maintain the machinery for the job etc, etc. Good to see the country is continuing and even rebounding!!

If you don’t mind anyone knowing and we have an atv park in Florence sc and I’ve got my equipment there maintaining trails and all but look to doing a pretty big pound. I’ve got equipment to do everything but haven’t really done any pound work in these conditions I’m from central NC and always played in red dirt. Thanks in advance if you see this and if interested I can get you my info if your close and like I was saying I have everything to do it just not use to sand and limestone dirt.

  • Loggers normally do just that. the land has to be prepped for planting. They sell the scrap logs and stumps to wood suppliers (fire). Today the profit level on wood lots and wood loggers and mills is so low and limited flow due to shutdowns in mills. Machines still break down anyway.... Bob Ferranti suggest you look at logging shows.
