  • Hello Chris , what is the screening material a by product of . Here in central Arkansas we have what is called Donna Fill that's more or less granite dust and is used just like what your using the screening for . I started driving a dump truck back in 1966 when I was 17 years old . The 1st Donna Fill I hauled and delivered I was instructed to back into an area we were preparing and there was 6 inches of water where I was to unload . I was told to back in and unload and not spin my drives and everything would be ok . A lesson that I have never forgotten . Great videos , now I'm waiting to see if you have to dig a sloppy pond . Good bye from central Arkansas .

  • This was a beautiful video and capped off with the awesome drone shot at the end. I've been following your channel for several months and it is a great feeling when I recognize some of your previous work. Towards the end, there were gunshots. Was that someone warning Karen not to call the Fire Department on you? "I'm not burning lady, I'm just spreading with a skid steer".

  • Do you have any advice for grading with a skid loader? I have a CAT 259D and I struggle with cutting a flat spot into a slope. The bucket wants to match the contour that the tracks are riding on, it feels like I almost need a 6 way dozer blade. I understand you can cut the slope you want 90 degrees (perpendicular) to your cut but what do you do when there’s not enough room for that? I work around homes in tight spaces and I rarely have enough room to use that technique. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • The first few seconds of this video had me going, wait, I've seen this... Then realized it was a recap. Chris, I turned my dad onto the channel. He was a heavy equipment operator with IUOE Local 181 for years (1971-1994) and he said that you are one of those operators that make it all look easy. Which was rare in his profession. He can't stop watching. Seeing my 73 year old dad watching youtube is an odd sight, but he really "digs" the channel. Keep those videos coming!

  • Chris you don't put any stone on that ag lime/ crushed lime stone, if that gets to wet it turns to oatmeal, it won't bind like that. at least that has been our experience in the past, we always used it to level, then top it with 3/4 inch lime stone. have a great night, keep up the great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bernie JrBernie Jr6 ditë më parë
    • It’s always what your experiences are that garner perspectives. I had a 4400 acre ranch. Mid sized to me but to others it is unimaginable. My one neighbour had almost 16,000 acres plus what he leased! In my area, that’s big. Then some Ranches in the southern state!!! Holy!!! I used to also run just over 8,000 head of cattle, which is a small feedlot. Didn’t like it so went to purebred cattle. One head ache for another!! Hahaha. I was always impressed by the gravel haulers when I was getting roadwork done. They could almost top dress a road without any other equipment!! That’s a real talent!! I tried with our old 1973 International gravel truck once, I had 3 piles of gravel about 10 feet apart each from messing with the hoist and a broken hoist when I was done. Parted out the truck, sent the rest for scrap and hired out all the gravel work from then on!! You guys have it figured out!
