  • You will like the cylinder tilt better than the helac motor anyways. We relently went to one on our backhoe (Ami too) with the helac and it has no power to adjust when grading. It will also sometimes move out of place its kind of a pain in the butt. I do like the extra added rotation though.

  • That plumbing works, but there should be X1 and X3. Makes switching buckets faster and easier, plus it's handy to be able to use the thumb. Do you find the thumb works it's way down while you're using that bucket?

  • are tilt grading buckets worth it? I am so good on my skid loader I can grade it anyway you want it. Hump in middle. Dip in middle. Flat. Sloping to one side or the other. To me the extra hydraulics and time to hook up wouldn't be worth it but maybe im missing something.

    Jimo225Jimo225Muaj më parë
  • @letsdig18 you should search up engcon rotortilt on google, that is the real shit ma dude, and they are not that expensive

    olof bengtssonolof bengtssonMuaj më parë
  • Could be me, but you might want to weld those rings for the hoses up a little higher, if you're at 45 degrees they seem to be touching the top edge of the bucket which might seem minor but will wear the hoses through in a relatively short time.

  • I can see where those hoses, being that length, could get in the way with how it's being folded towards the bucket.

    Masterism88Masterism88Muaj më parë
  • One advise: Get a couple of those hose covers, the spiral-wrap kind. And make sure they are yellow; that makes it easier to see your hoses in darknes or if digging deep trenches were a steel pipe suddenly could appear and "grabbing" your hydr-hose and destroy several hours for you.... replacing the hose and eventually even the coupling if it's been jammed up also. This is the cover I mean if available in US? (Should be): www.hkhydraulic.com/hydraulik/hydraulslang/slangskydd/sp-110-1200-g Should also have joysticks with real rollers on so you can adjust the oil flow more precise, now it seems to be just "BAM! BAM!"- all oil at once attacking those tilt cylinders. Personally I would spend the money on a Engcon tiltrotator with the easily detachable grapple in the rear, making the machine more versatile. Here in Sweden those tiltable grading buckets are almost obsolete on machines under 35tons.

    DolomedesspiderDolomedesspiderMuaj më parë
  • You need to get a restricter valve on the bucket hoses for more accurate bucket angle adjustment. Is the tilt run off the foot pedal or an electronic switch on the joystick?

  • Instead of cutting the hoses make yourself a "service loop" tied up with zipties so if the ends near the bucket get damaged you don't have to get new hoses.

  • Hey Chris. You should be able to slow your auxiliaries down in the computer. Nice machine. We set up our machines the same way here in Maine. I’ve been waiting for the day you would set up a machine like this. Next step is engcon or rototilt 😂😂

  • Been watching you for some time now and can't believe how long it's taken you to buy a hitch nevermind a tilty bucket!! An absolute game changer. You'll probably find you'll never take it off, only for hard digging or using the thumb. My biggest hate is hooking the pipes on and off.
