  • This looks amazing! I design these gravel roads all the time but rarely get to see them constructed. Question: why did you opt for gaps in the fabric around the outside of the curve rather than overlaps to the inside?

    • Some machines have sensors on their business end tied to GPS or an on-site laser-leveled reference point. Those set-ups are very pricey and can be a huge pain to set up and maintain. With Chris, it looks like it's his years of experience and skills that are producing the precision results. Years of experience are also very expensive to set-up and maintain 😜

That red clay sure does look like 1950's brick clay before compressed an baked. .. but the drive is looking great an I like the drainage on each side keeping the surface water off of the road bed..., So many contractors don't understand how to build a road bed that will last the years of use.. You Sir do! 👍edit.. by the way that is scary sitting on top of the dump bed standing straight up an down 😅

That's all I know about this, because I did this before and had to get help, just trying to help you get your videos back. As far as computers go, I'm an idiot, but hopefully this helps you.

  • Did not know NC is the land of Millionaires or people with a million acres..

Barry ElizandoBarry Elizando10 ditë më parë
    • Barry Elizando i have seen thousands of acres sold all around me but luckily a man, his son and daughter bought the majority of it for hunting so its locked in for many years to come because their kids love hunting riding their ATVs out there. They live an hour away and come down regularly for camping also, luckily the kids have almost talked them into making an atv park so maybe we will have miles and miles of trails to ride before long...well at least till hunting season but i would rather ride in the summer anyway.

      young11984young119849 ditë më parë
    • @young11984 You are correct. My in-laws have property that they inherited in Dairy land, and none of the kids want to work the land. They do just as you mentioned cause I see it and hear it..

Barry ElizandoBarry Elizando9 ditë më parë
    • But constantly being sold by kids that inherit it and have made a life in the city so sale to developers, most kids rather have the money than the memories then complain how city life sucks
